I'll type slowly, so you can understand exactly what I mean, frankly it doesn't matter what the size of your blob is, 20 ships, 30 ships, 100 ships...when a target's only defense is fielding fleets that are several magnitudes larger than the attacking force, it is extremely common to hear comments like "run you girls", "cowards", etc etc etc...
Max had 3 guys vs 20+, and he gets slammed for running...or only engaging the smaller ships...my point is there is no reason arguing with anyone who makes fun of you for playing it smart, as blobbing forces always think they are uber and its their complete awesomeness which scared the attackers away, rather than the complete overkill they brought to the fight...there is nothing wrong with blobbing, if you have the forces to mount that kind of defense, then do so...but at least have the intelligence to recognize that your opponents are not engaging because you have a fleet several times their size, rather than because you have suddenly developed into a lethal pvp force...
